1) Not posting enough! Post 4-5 times a week, minimum.
2) Not acknowledging your customer’s comments, reviews, or check'ins
3) Using a misaligned business logo, blurry cover banner, and boring photos
4) Not fully completing the “About” section of your Facebook business page
5) Not using FB Live the way it should be used: to announce products/services
6) Over-using hashtags on Facebook and Twitter (two max)
7) Under-using hashtags on Instagram (fully use the max 30 hashtags in each IG post)
8) Going off subject. Posts should be relevant to your business niche.
9) If you’re Dentist and you do a FB contest – give away teeth-whitening’s, not iPads.
10) Not using enough Call to Action (CTA) verbiage in your posts: “Buy, join us, visit” etc
Bonus tip #1: Thinking that just posting (without promoting) will drive in new business.
Bonus tip #2: FB Live is super cheap to advertise on now. Run the Live video, save to your wall and then use the "Video Views" objective inside of FB Ad Manager. Epic goal: see if you can get your video views for a penny or LESS! ;)
